He was known as ''Deepam'' Parthasarathy due to his magazine. He also published under various pen names like Theeran, Aravindan, Manivannan, Ponmudi, Valavan, Kadalazhagan, Ilampooranan and Sengulam Veerasinga Kavirayar.
